How It Works
The KN-4003BL Kernel Corded Handheld UVB Lamp offers carefully controlled exposure to ultraviolet B (UVB) light at a specific wavelength of 311nm, covering a treatment area of 5cm x 2cm. This targeted exposure is beneficial for managing conditions such as plaque psoriasis, lip-tip vitiligo, dyshidrotic eczema, and stasis dermatitis, helping alleviate their symptoms and appearance.
Unlike the Cordless Handheld UVB Lamp, this model uses a corded power source, eliminating the need for charging before starting treatment. It delivers a similar lamp intensity of 7.2-3.2mW/cm2. Additionally, this device comes with a comb attachment for treating the scalp and positioning support to ensure the lamp is administered at a distance of 3cm.

I didn’t notice much at first, but after six weeks, my eczema is much less irritated, and the itching has gone down. This lamp does work!!!

I first bought the corded version of this lamp, the cord length was a bit of short and not really comfy for me as I travel a lot. I had to sit in a specific spot, which wasn’t always convenient. After talking to customer support lady, I decided to switch to the Promax cordless version for more flexibility. The Promax is definitely easier to use since I’m not stuck near a plug. Both are good, but if convenience is your priority, the cordless is worth considering

I saw some crusting on my baby’s scalp. My decision was to visit the dermatologist’s cabinet as soon as possible. This pretty woman suggested some special shampoo for me to buy. She said that nothing serious, just some kind of infantile sensation. However, after a month of treatment I did not notice any positive effect. I was disappointed because my son started to scratch his scalp and sleep badly. I understood that the diagnosis was made wrong. Another derm doctor was more experienced and saw the scalp seborrheic dermatitis from the very beginning. I was afraid of the progress of the skin condition and was ready for any needful measures.
